About me
Dr. Omolara Fatiregun is founder and CEO of THRIVE!, a social enterprise that uses AI to root out inequity in government spending and policies. Omolara built THRIVE! based on her 20-year career as a cabinet level official in DC government, applied researcher, and a foundation executive. Omolara earned a bachelor’s in Sociology and African American Studies from Harvard, a master’s in public policy from Georgetown, and a doctorate in education leadership from Harvard where she was a Presidential Public Service Fellow and an Adrian Cheng Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School Social Innovation + Change Initiative. Omolara has won many innovation awards including the HP Prize for Advancing Digital Equity, MIT Solve Global Challenge, Morgan Stanley Social Justice Innovation Award, and fellowships from Halcyon and Camelback. Omolara's work has been featured in Boston Globe, Washington Business Journal, Nasdaq.com, and Fast Company as the #1 Social Justice Innovation of the 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards.
