About me
Joshua Reid: Visionary Entrepreneur and Innovator
Joshua Reid, a native of Albany, New York, has transformed his inner-city upbringing into a journey of entrepreneurial success. A scholar-athlete from Bishop Maginn High School, Josh pursued Electrical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (B.S.) and Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (M.S.).
Josh began his career at Emerson Climate Technologies, where he developed critical project management skills. In 2015, he launched Operation D.RI.V.E.N., addressing childhood obesity and infant mortality through after-school programs. This success led to the creation of Drivenoptics, a digital marketing agency, and StudioCincy, a creative space for entrepreneurs.
In January 2020, Josh founded Inphlu, a social media amplification software company, which rebranded to LunchTable in January 2024. Under his leadership, LunchTable raised $2.4M in venture capital and received several prestigious grants and credits. As a Techstars DC alum, Josh has driven LunchTable to empower professional and collegiate sports teams through turning casual fans into brand advocates, revolutionizing fan engagement. The platform is currently being tested by the Cincinnati Reds, FC Cincinnati, and 6 Division-I Programs.
Josh is a dedicated mentor and supporter of social causes, engaging with universities and youth programs. He was recognized as one of Ohio’s entrepreneurs of the year in 2022. Outside his professional life, Josh is a devoted husband to Dr. Ashley Reid, an MD-OB/GYN and Major in the United States Air Force, and father to their two young children.
