About me
Casey is a Principal at Fenway Summer, a VC firm focused on early stage fintech investments. Casey leads the firms' early stage investments and the venture build initiative, helping to develop and launch new businesses in financial services.
Casey is also the Head of Operations and Founding Ambassador for RightWise Wealth, a financial planning and investment management firm helping high-earners organize and optimize their financial lives.
Prior to joining Fenway Summer, Casey worked in finance and entrepreneurship as an R&D analyst at Wells Fargo in San Francisco, California, and as a manager for the non-profit Kiva Microfinance U.S. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her work with Kiva earned her the 2018 Financial Service Champion award from the Tulsa SBC, as well as Entrepreneur of the Year from Tulsa Young Professionals. Prior to her work in financial services, Casey spent two years as a fourth-grade math teacher through Teach for America.
In 2022, Casey founded and launched DC Startup Women, an organization connecting female founders and funders to one another and to local resources.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Casey holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a B.A. in English Literature from Elon University. She currently resides in Washington, DC, with her husband, Bobby, and a menagerie of rescue animals that chose to adopt the couple.
